Bells Power Services was called out to investigate a fault on a generator control panel that the bank’s current service providers couldn’t solve. Their provider was also not able to offer a replacement controller, as manufacture of the particular controller in question had been discontinued.
Within two days of visiting the site, our control engineers had sourced a replacement controller, programmed it to suit the generator synchronising package, installed it and tested the system under building load conditions. We also offered a long-term solution in upgrading the control system using ComAp Inteligen controllers and Allen Bradley PLC systems.
The bank was keen to continue working with us, and the upgrade was carried out within a year ensuring that their critical power is now reliable and efficient.
